फैक्ट्री में नहाने के लिये स्नानघर बनाना हो तो उसके लिये पूर्व दिशा उपयुक्त होती है। परन्तु स्नानघर बनाते समय इस बात का ख्याल रखें कि यह सीढ़ियों के नीचे न बनाया जाये। क्योंकि सीढ़ियां बुध ग्रह का प्रतीक हैं और स्नानघर जल का और जल का अधिक उपयोग होने पर यह चंद्रमा के अधीन आ जाता है जोकि बुध का शत्रु है जिस कारण ग्रहों में उथल-पुथल बनी रहेगी। स्नानघर के फर्श का ढ़ाल उत्तर-पूर्व दिशा की तरफ करवाना चाहिये।

जमीन में बोरिंग करने हेतू उपयुक्त दिशा पूर्व, उत्तर-पूर्व या उत्तर मानी जाती है, नल, झरना या जल से सम्बन्धित कोई सजावट करनी हो तो वह उत्तर या पूर्व दिशा में ही करें।

पश्चिम-दक्षिण दिशा में तहखाना, तालाब, किसी भी तरह के गड्ढ़े या गन्दे पानी का संचय बिल्कुल भी न बनायें, ऐसा करने पर यह आपके भाग्य में कमी करना शुरू कर देता है और साथ ही प्राकृतिक आपदायें भी आपको परेशान करती हैं, और इस तरह से आपकी फैक्ट्री बदहाली के रास्ते पर चल पड़ती है। भाग्य सो जाता है और आप रोजी-रोटी के लिये मोहताज हो जाते हैं। कर्ज, गरीबी कलेश ये सब आपको घेर लेते हैं। फैक्ट्री के मुख्य द्वार के बाहर कचरा, गंदा पानी, कींचड़ या नाला आदि न हो, ये सब भी फैक्ट्री की उन्नति रोक कर कर्ज का द्वार आपके लिये खोल देते हैं।

फैक्ट्री के मालिक अथवा मैनेजर जो फैक्ट्री का संचालन करता हो उसको फैक्ट्री पर नियन्त्रण बनाये रखने के लिये नैर्ऋत्य दिशा में अपना चैम्बर बनाये और बैठते हुये उसका मुंह उत्तर या पूर्व दिशा की तरफ होना चाहिये।
