मानव शरीर भी इन चुम्बकीय तरंगों से अछूता नहीं है वह भी इन चुम्बकीय तरंगों से प्रभावित और नियंत्रित होता है। मानव शरीर में सिर को उत्तरी ध्रुव और पैर दक्षिणी ध्रुव कहा जाता है। यही कारण है कि हमारा सिर जो उत्तरी ध्रुव का प्रतिनिधित्व करता है उसे उत्तर की ओर कर सोने की सलाह नहीं दी जाती। क्योंकि पृथ्वी का उत्तरी क्षेत्र मानव के उत्तरी ध्रुव से विकर्षण करेगा और चुम्बकीय प्रभाव अस्वीकार कर देगा, जिससे मानव शरीर के रक्त संचार के लिए अनुकूल चुम्बकीय क्षेत्र का लाभ नहीं मिल सकेगा।
फलस्वरूप मस्तिष्क में तनाव व्याप्त रहेगा और शरीर को सुकुन भरी नींद का अनुभव नहीं हो पाता है। जबकि दक्षिण की तरफ सिर कर सोने से शरीर के अंदर उत्पन्न चुम्बकीय तरंगों में किसी भी तरह का व्यवधान उत्पन्न नहीं होता है और मनुष्य अच्छी नींद ले पाता है।
