स्थिति वेध
ऐसी गली या सड़क जो आगे जाकर अन्त में बन्द हो जाती हो जिसमें आमने-सामने तो मकान होते हैं और कभी - कभी आखिर सामने की टक्कर पर भी बहुधा यदि कोई मकान हो तो उस मकान को बंद मकान या कैदी मकान कहा जाता है, यह अपने आप में बहुत बड़ा वेध होता है।
स्थान वेध
किसी प्लाट अथवा मकान के सामने चक्की, धोबी, लुहार की भट्टी या किसी ऐसे दम्पति का मकान हो जो निःसन्तान हो, तब इसको स्थान वेध कहा जाता है। साथ ही ऐसे भूखंड के करीब श्मशान घाट या कब्रिस्तान हो तब भी इसे स्थान वेध ही कहा जाता है।
दृष्टि वेध
जिन मकानों में प्रवेश करने पर तुरन्त ही यदि सूनेपन का अहसास हो या डरने जैसी स्थिति बनती हो ऐसे मकानों को दृष्टि वेध कहा जाता है। ऐसे भवन में रहने वाले लोगों की आर्थिक के साथ-साथ मानसिक दृष्टि भी असन्तुलित रहती है।
