डिस्पोज मतलब नष्ट करना, यानि यहाँ जो भी कुछ रखा गया है व नष्ट करने योग्य है। डस्टबिन में ऐसी ही वस्तुओं को डाला जाता है जिनको घर से बाहर करना हो अथवा नष्ट करना हो। या फिर इसको कूड़ा-करकट स्टोर करने के लिये रखा जाता है। घर में किसी भी तरह का कूड़ा-करकट हो उसे यूँ ही खुला न छोड़कर एक डस्टबिन में रखना चाहिये।
वास्तु के अनुसार घर में कुछ भी अस्त-व्यस्त अवस्था में नहीं होना चाहिये, चाहे वह आपके उपयोग का सामान हो अथवा न हो यानि कि कूड़ा वगैरह। उसके लिये आपको नियत स्थान में डस्टबिन रखकर उसका इस्तेमाल करना चाहिये।
डस्टबिन को वास्तु अनुसार सही स्थान में रखकर आप इससे लाभ भी ले सकते हैं। अब दूसरा सवाल यह आता है कि डस्टबिन को किस दिशा में रखकर इसके द्वारा मानव जीवन में इसका लाभ लिया जा सकता है।
दक्षिण-दक्षिण-पश्चिम दिशा विसर्जन का क्षेत्र है, डिस्पोज़ के हिसाब से इस दिशा का अपना महत्व है क्योंकि जो कुछ भी जीवन में अनावश्यक है, उसको साथ के साथ समाप्त न किया जाये तो वह अत्यधिक बढ़ जाता है जिसके फलस्वरूप कठिनाइयाँ भी आती रहती हैं। क्योंकि असंतुलन चाहे ज्यादा होने से हो, या कम होने से, समस्याएं तो आएंगी ही।
किस प्रकार की समस्याएं आएंगी वह इस बात पर निर्भर करता है कि अंसतुलन विसर्जन के ज्यादा होने से है या फिर कम होने से।
अगर शरीर में विसर्जन की प्रक्रिया ठीक तरह से न हो तो शरीर अपने दैनिक कार्यों में सक्षम नहीं हो पाता। विसर्जन की गतिविधि ज्यादा हो जाए अर्थात् पेट खराब हो जाए और विसर्जन बढ़ जाए, बार-बार मल त्याग हो तो भी आप शक्तिहीन महसूस करेंगे और अगर कब्ज हो जाए तो भी शरीर ठीक तरह से कार्य नहीं कर पाता।
तो इस दिशा में आप कूड़ा-करकट स्टोर करने के लिये डस्टबिन रखकर इस दिशा के अनुकूल एक्टिीविटी करके लाभ उठा सकते हैं। ऐसा करने से इस दिशा का सन्तुलन बना रहता है और भवन में डिस्पोज़ सम्बन्धी गतिविधि उचित रूप से चलती रहती है जिसके फलस्वरूप आपके खर्चों में भी कटौती आती है और फालतू खर्च बन्द हो जाता है। डस्ट बिन रखने के अतिरिक्त यह दिशा शौचालय बनाने के लिये भी उपयुक्त होती है।
