मान लीजिये कि व्यापार स्थल पर आपने वायव्य दिशा में बैठक की दिशा निर्धारित की है, तो अब व्यापारी अपने स्थान पर लगातार नहीं बैठ पाता और अन्यत्र आता-जाता रहता है, क्योंकि वायव्य दिशा चंचलता की दिशा होता है।
अब इसका परिणाम क्या होता है कि व्यापार ठीक नहीं चल पाता है, और कर्मचारी भी व्यापारी की अनुपस्थिति का लाभ उठाते हैं। वास्तु शास्त्र के हिसाब से यदि व्यापारी अपनी बैठक का स्थान दक्षिण दिशा में बनाता है (जोकि स्थिरता व प्रशासन की दिशा है) और उत्तर दिशा की ओर मुख करके बैठता है तो उसका मन व्यापार में लगता है और उसे सकारात्मक व्यापारिक परिणाम भी सरलता से मिलते हैं।
